LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) ? Kentucky's 54-game winning streak at Rupp Arena came to an end on Saturday when the No. 8 wildcats were upset by Baylor 64-55.

Pierre Jackson scored 17 points and Isaiah Austin and A.J. Walton each added 11 for the Bears (5-2). Brady Heslip and Cory Jefferson each added 10 points and Baylor beat the Wildcats for the first time in eight tries.

Baylor shot just 41 percent for the game but held Kentucky (4-3) to 21-of-71 from the floor.

Archie Goodwin scored 17 points for Kentucky before fouling out with 1:44 remaining in the game. Alex Poythress added 13 and Nerlens Noel eight for the Wildcats.

After trailing for the first 15 minutes Baylor took its first lead at 20-19 on Jackson's 3-pointer and stayed close before closing the half with a 12-2 run for a 34-29 lead. The Bears kept the Wildcats at bay with a zone defense that forced Kentucky into 16 turnovers.

Syrian Man Helps Disaster Relief Organization Distribute Aid to Fellow Refugees in Iraq

After fleeing the military he was forced to join two years ago, a Syrian man has become invaluable to the volunteers from international disaster relief organization, ShelterBox, as they delivered aid to thousands of other refugees living in the Domiz camp in Iraq Kurdistan.

After fleeing the military he was forced to join two years ago, a Syrian man has become invaluable to the volunteers from international disaster relief organization, ShelterBox, as they delivered aid to thousands of other refugees living in the Domiz camp in Iraq Kurdistan.

ShelterBox responds immediately to disasters such as earthquake, volcano, flood, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami or conflict, by delivering boxes of aid. Each box includes a disaster relief tent, water purification kit, cook-stoves, blankets and other supplies that help families survive and rebuild their lives in the days, weeks or months following disaster.

Members of the highly trained ShelterBox Response Team (SRT) were delivering boxes of winterized shelter and supplies to families living in the camp when they met Abdullah, a man who fled the Syrian Army after being forced to fight his own people.

David Webber, an SRT member from the UK, said they first met Abdullah when they were setting up the first shipment of tents. He noticed that Abdullah spoke English quite well, and asked if he would act as the SRT?s guide and translator during their deployment.

?Without [Abdullah], our work here would not have been as quick and efficient ? we now have 500 tents set up, bringing shelter, warmth and dignity to families,? Webber said.

Abdullah was taken from his home in Qamishli, Syria, in October 2010. He was forced to quit studying English at the University of Aleppo and instead join the soldiers fighting for President Bashar al-Assad.

In June 2012, he escaped the growing violence between military troops and rebel fighters when he crossed the border into Iraq. He has since been living in the Domiz camp with his aunt, uncle, nieces and nephews.

?Meeting [volunteers] from ShelterBox has been amazing for all of us here,? Abdullah said. ?Not only do I have work to provide for my family here, but we are also helping my people who are in desperate need by bringing them what's most important to them at this time ? safety and hope.?

ShelterBox is also responding in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy in Haiti, to earthquakes in Guatemala, and extensive flooding in Nigeria, Senegal and Uganda.

NYC pop-up exhibit celebrates Broadway's 'The Lion King'

Christmas in New York has a rhythm all its own: spectacular department store window displays; ice skating and viewing the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center; and of course, shopping and taking in a Broadway show.? ?

But for travelers who flock to the city this season, the holiday ?circle of life? ritual just got a little bit bigger --?for a couple weeks at least.

A new interactive pop-up exhibit, ?Inside The Lion King,? adjacent to Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan from December?1-16, is designed to take guests behind the scenes of the popular stage production, and will display almost 100 items -- animal shadow puppets, masks, costumes, and props -- that have been used on stage in the show or will be used in future productions. Visitors, for example, will be able to see details, like the beading on Simba?s costume or the hand painted capes, not possible to see or touch from theater seats.?

The creators say is the first immersive, pop-up exhibit ever created for a Broadway show.

The idea for the exhibit evolved over many years, as audience members frequently expressed interest in ?getting a little bit closer? to the production, said Andrew Flatt, senior vice president for marketing at the Disney Theatrical Group. The show is celebrating its 15th anniversary on Broadway this year, so it seemed like the right time to do it, he said.??

?We considered backstage tours, but those are things you can?t do in volume,? Flatt said, noting that it is the first time a live event space was used in conjunction with a stage musical.

?The Lion King? has been performed in 15 different countries on five continents, in eight languages.

The some 5,000 square foot ?experiential? exhibit will include displays and touch screen presentations of original early concept materials and sketches used in developing the show to help guests learn about the creative process. Fans can be photographed with a five-foot wildebeest mask or next to the show?s iconic ?the circle of life? image of the sun. They can even pose with a Rafiki and Scar, wax figures from Madame Tussauds, one of the exhibit?s sponsors.

Special weekend workshops will feature African music and dance, design, and storytelling. Visitors, for example, can create an original mask, or try their hand at playwriting.

Christina Norsig, chief executive of PopUpInsider.com, an online exchange for temporary properties, said she had not heard of a pop-up for a Broadway Show, but thought it a wonderful use of the trend.

?It makes total sense,? said Norsig, who is also author of ?Pop-Up Retail: How You Can Master This Global Marketing Phenomenon.? ?I personally have been behind the scenes of the Nutcracker and when you see the details up close it helps you connect to the show,? she said, noting that such encounters can educate the public. ?It brings the show to life, the magic of it.? In addition, she said, ?I think it is a terrific marketing effort.?

Though potentially good for ticket sales, that was not the impetus, said Flatt. ?Sales are fantastic,? he said. ?We?ve had the most successful year ever.? And while the exhibit may reinvigorate interest, the exhibit was primarily intended to showcase Julie Taymor?s original vision of the show, by highlighting the creative process and to tell the story of the production, he said.

"The Lion King is one of our city's most popular Broadway productions,? said Christopher C. Heywood, first vice president of communications for NYC & Company, the official marketing, tourism and partnership organization for New York City. ?This new interactive attraction gives visitors a unique chance to extend their Broadway experience outside the theater, creating longer-lasting memories of this iconic show.?

During the 2010-2011 season, Broadway as an industry contributed $11.2 billion to the city?s economy, a 9 percent increase from the 2008-2009 season, a report released earlier this year by The Broadway League found.

The exhibit is free and open to the public, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. most days. Tickets to ?The Lion King? and other Disney productions, as well as some merchandise, will be on sale. For more information, visit lionking.com/exhibit.?

Your cell phone company will decide when PlayStation Mobile ...

PlayStation Mobile has been operational since October for a limited number of devices. To this day, only certain Sony and HTC devices are officially supported. If you own the HTC One X, S, or V you probably haven?t been able to use PlayStation Mobile. That?s because support won?t be officially?available until those devices are updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. In other words, the time span in which you will receive PlayStation Mobile will be determined by your cellular network provider.

This situation is just another example of how owners of Android devices are constantly getting the shaft in terms of updates. HTC?s family of phones run a customized version of Android called HTC Sense. Whenever a new version of Android is released by Google, HTC has to run all kinds of tests to make sure its custom software plays nice with Google?s new code. After that, carriers have to test the update before making it available to their customers. The bloatware that?s pre-installed on phones such as navigation apps, and shopping apps also have to pass certification with every new Android update. If for any reason the carriers find the update to be unsatisfactory, they?ll send it right back to HTC for tweaking. That process can take several weeks.

There?s no telling how long you?ll have to wait before PlayStation Mobile comes to your HTC device. The One X is currently receiving the Android 4.1 update internationally, but AT&T hasn?t made any specific announcements for the U.S. version. The HTC One S update is also still up in the air.

The HTC One V is still listed as being compatible with PlayStation Mobile, but HTC said it would not get the Android 4.1 update because it doesn?t have more than 512MB of RAM. I guess Sony didn?t get that memo.

Needless to say, PlayStation Mobile isn?t off to a good start. If its widespread adoption is left to carriers, it?s already doomed.
