American Idol Results: Who Got the Chop?

American Idol pared its field down to nine singers this week.

Following their performances Wednesday night, DeAndre Brackensick and Heejun Han seemed destined for the bottom three on tonight's results show.

Did they land there? And who else ended up on the block?

The dreaded bottom three did indeed come down to the aforementioned two gentlemen, as many predicted, along with Erika Van Pelt, with the judges indicating right off the bat that they would not be saving any of the above. Rough!

When the results were read, the fewest number of votes went to...

Erika Van Pelt! Yes, America actually preferred DeAndre Brackensick and Heejun Han. The viewers of this show really don't like female singers, huh?

She had been a staple in the bottom three, but after a total makeover and a strong performance this week, many felt she would be in the clear.

Erika just didn't connect with enough voters to stay on Idol, though, leaving DeAndre and Heejun to fight another week ... possibly the last for one of them.

TOULOUSE, France (AP) ? The French interior minister says the suspect a killing spree has died after jumping from his apartment window after police stormed his apartment following a 32 hour standoff.

Claude Gueant says the suspect, who claims links to al-Qaida, jumped after police entered the apartment and found him holed up in the bathroom. Police and the suspect exchanged fire before Mohamed Merah died.

Gueant says two policemen were injured.

Putting off a repair will lead to additional problems, such as broken rotors or loss of pressure in your brake fluid lines, compromising your safety and adding to the cost of repairs.

• DRAG?- Sticking brakes, hot wheels or engine which seems to have lost power.? Auto brakes may be failing to release; the condition can reverse itself, leaving you with no brakes at all.? This would indicate brakes service is needed.
• PULL ? Vehicle pulls to one side when brakes are applied.? May be underinflated tire, misadjusted brakes or brakes are in need of car brakes repair.
• HARD?PEDAL ? Requires extreme pressure to make brakes function.? Can indicate power brake trouble, restricted hydraulic lines, frozen calipers or wheel cylinders, or damaged brake linings
• BRAKE?LIGHTS ? Red indicates a problem as simple as the parking brake on, or low fluid, to something as serious as a hydraulic system failure.? Yellow indicates deactivation of your ABS?system.? While your brakes should work, it does require inspection at the first opportunity.
• VIBRATION ? Brake pedal, steering wheel or entire vehicle shakes, vibrates or pulsates when brake is applied.? May indicate need to resurface disc brake rotors ? or signal a serious problem of a loose component or faulty steering mechanism.
• SQUEAL ? Brakes should operate with a minimal amount of noise.? Some noise is normal but excessive squeal, screech, grinding, groaning, chatter, clatter or bang means your brakes need of car brakes repair.
• LOW?PEDAL ? Pedal nearly touches floorboard before brakes function.? May activate your brake warning light.? Problem may require a simple adjustment ? or indicate something much more serious.
• GRAB ? ?Touchy??brakes that grab with the least pressure.? May indicate a problem as simple as grease or oil contaminated linings ? or as serious as loose or broken component ready to fail in an emergency.

Functional brakes are extremely important to your safety.? It is suggested that you have your brake systems checked at least once a year.? Justin Bieber invited his fans to get involved in helping him pick the artwork for his first Believe single, "Boyfriend," and the time has come to reveal which photo fans chose. And the pop singer is giving his fans a lot of bang for their buck for taking the time to vote in the cover-art contest.

After fans voted on Twitter for their favorite of two photos, the shot of Bieber tousling his hair (also known as #JBboyfriend1) won as the single's cover. But that doesn't mean that other shots won't also be used in one form or another.

"But it was so close that ..." Bieber tweeted. "We are still going to use #JBboyfriend2 for press and even took one of the FAN MADE submissions and have decided that ... we are going to sell an exclusive #BOYFRIEND fan single package in WALMART and the cover will be the one U the fans made!

"So here it is ... the cover of the Walmart #BOYFRIEND SINGLE COVER ... made by U the fans! thank u! This is OUR ALBUM!" he tweeted before revealing the photo, which blends #JBboyfriend1 and #JBboyfriend2, the latter of which is just a shot of him looking off into the distance.

"Boyfriend" officially drops on March 26. Believe will drop later this year. Produced by Mike Posner, the track features a bit of Bieber rapping lines like "Tell me what you like, dear/ Tell me what you don't/ I could be your Buzz Lightyear/ Fly across the globe/ You don't even need to fight, dear/ You already know/ I can make you shine bright/ Like you're laying in the snow, brrr."
